About Project

The complete development of the new portal was done from scratch, with the goal of creating a modern, functional, and technologically stable website. A brand-new site was built on the WordPress platform using a clean installation and carefully configured components to support dynamic media content. Special attention was given to intuitive navigation, fast loading times, scalability, and a responsive design optimized for all devices.

The site was designed to enable the editorial team to publish news, interviews, galleries, and video content efficiently and without technical barriers.

Search engine optimization (SEO) was implemented, along with integration with social media platforms, to further enhance content visibility and audience engagement.

Custom Design Tailored to Client Needs

A fully customized website design was developed to align with the visual identity of the PS Sport brand. The user interface was carefully crafted to ensure easy access to news, thematic sections, and featured topics. Special attention was given to clarity and ease of use, both for readers and for the editorial team.

Advanced News Publishing Features

The news editor was enhanced with advanced features to support richer content creation and greater user engagement, including: insertion of visually highlighted boxes for key information, emphasis of relevant quotes within articles, automatic linking of related news stories to encourage deeper site navigation, direct embedding of social media posts (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook) via the embed function.

Editorial Activity Tracking System

A monitoring system was implemented to provide internal oversight of editorial team activities. Through a specialized plugin, site administrators can track who published or edited content and when, improving transparency and enabling more efficient editorial management.

  • User Roles and Permission Levels – The editorial team consists of multiple users with different responsibilities, requiring a clearly defined access structure.
  • Polls Creation and Display Functionality – To enhance user engagement, it was necessary to introduce a mechanism that would allow readers to actively participate in content and share their opinions on current sports topics.
  • Advertising and Banner Display System – The portal needed a monetization solution that would support advertising, offering flexibility and performance tracking.

  • A user role hierarchy was established with clearly defined permissions. This structure enables secure, organized, and efficient content management.
  • An easy-to-use poll system was integrated, allowing editors to create and display polls on the portal.
  • A flexible banner system was developed, allowing ad placements in key areas of the website
